nung high school days ko 1983 - 1987 alam ko sikat mga GA math quiz bee contestants, di lang sa guinayangan ha, sa buong province yan. Did u know?, GA Math Quiz Bee Contestants always place Second Best sa buong Province ng Quezon. here's some of the list, Bob Babilonia (batch 84), Corsino Climacosa (batch 86), The IV Year Team of Jasmin Espanol, Corsino Climacosa and Deomides Delen (batch 86), Jinggay Escobar (batch 90), syempre kasama ako dun Carmelo A. C. Pujalte (batch 87).

Saka syempre, sikat din nun yung GA CAT Model Platoon (Batch 87) with Leo Escobar as Corp Commander and Sir Prospero Molines as CAT Commandant. Pang arrival honor kami nun pag me dumadating na bisita ang Division of Quezon. We're even invited in Atimonan, Quezon to receive a Division's guest there. The greatest achievement ng GA Batch 87 CAT Model Platoon is when we were invited to lead the parade of the 1986 Southern Tagalog Regional Athletic Association (STRAA) in Lucena City and do an exhibition number there. daming tao!!!

Born: 1904, Guinayangan, Quezon Prov., Luzon, P. I.

career:

Graduated B.S.F. in the University of the Philippines (1937), and M.S. in the University of Santo Tomas, Manila (1953). From 1928-41 Ranger, Bureau of Forestry, Philippines; from 1935-41 Instructor in Botany and Dendrology, College of Forestry, U.P.; from 1947 onwards Assistant Curator, Philippine National Herbarium, and finally Senior Botanist.

He is engaged in the preparation of a Flora of Banaue (N. Luzon) with R.M. del Rosario, with whom he also wrote ‘Philippine aquatic flowering plants and ferns’ (Manila 1967).

In 1969 he retired as Curator of the Philippine Herbarium. He is now connected with the faculty of the Dept of Forestry, Araneta University.

Author of papers on economic botany, ecology, and morphology.

Convocar (see there).-1961. Luzon: since June 1 in cutting and logging areas of the Nasipit Lumber Co. in Agusan Prov., and on the mountains in Agusan.-1964. Palawan (Apr.-June).-1965. Quezon Prov., Luzon (June 1-28).-1967. Luzon: Dalton Pass in Nueva Vizcaya Prov. (Mar. 3-18); Banaue,1 Ifugao Prov. (May 11-June 11) with R.M. del Rosario.
